What does a job board do?
A job board's product is reach: it puts a listing in front of people searching for work, and charges the employer for prominence, for the number of listings, or per click. Applications submitted on the board are forwarded to the employer by email, through the board's own tracking tools, or into the employer's ATS if the two are integrated.
What does an ATS do that a job board does not?
An ATS holds every application to the employer's jobs in one pipeline regardless of where it came from, records each stage and decision, sends the interview and outcome emails, and keeps the history. A job board sees only the applications made on that board and knows nothing about what happened afterwards. Companies that hire from several sources need the ATS to see the whole picture.
Is ofper a job board?
No. ofper is an applicant tracking system. Each verified company gets a public careers page listing its open roles, and each job gets a public page with JobPosting structured data, so search engines and Google for Jobs can index them. There is no page on ofper where candidates search across companies. ofper also does not post jobs to Naukri, Indeed or LinkedIn; employers who want that reach post there themselves and point the listing at their ofper job page.

Can an ATS replace a job board?
No. An ATS manages applications; it does not generate candidates. Reach comes from job boards, referrals, search engines and the employer's own network. An ATS with public job pages, such as ofper, gives search engines something to index but is not a substitute for a board's audience.
Do job boards have their own applicant tracking?
Most large boards offer a basic tracker for applications received on that board. It does not see applications from other sources, which is the reason companies adopt a separate ATS.
Does ofper post to job boards?
No. Jobs published on ofper appear on the company's ofper careers page and are indexable by search engines. They are not pushed to Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn or any other board.
