Verification is free and has two routes. Domain verification is fully automated and instant: it proves to candidates that your company controls its own domain. Manual verification is for companies without a domain — for example a business that runs on Gmail: you submit registration documents and a person reviews them within 2 business days. Either route earns the Verified badge on your company page and job listings.
Option A — DNS record (recommended)
Start verification under Company settings, choose “DNS record”, and enter your domain (for example acme.com). We give you a TXT record to add at _ofper.acme.com with your DNS provider (Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Route 53…).
DNS changes can take a few minutes to propagate. Come back and press “Check now” — the moment we see the record, you're verified.
Option B — email to your domain
If you can receive email at any mailbox on the domain (like [email protected]), choose “Email”, tell us the mailbox, and enter the 6-digit code we send there. The code expires in 30 minutes.
What you unlock
- A public company page at ofper.com/c/your-company with the Verified badge
- Jobs published to the marketplace, where candidates can apply directly
- Screening questions on your application forms
- Recruiting email sent through your own mailbox (coming with mailbox connection)
Option C — no domain? Manual verification
gmail.com, outlook.com and similar shared providers can't prove company ownership, so they can't be used for domain verification. If your company has no domain of its own, choose manual verification instead: under Company settings → Verification, enter your registered legal name and upload your registration certificate and the authorized signer's government ID (a tax registration is optional).
A person on the ofper team reviews the documents within 2 business days. On approval your company is Verified and your registered legal name becomes your public company name, shown with a Registered badge. Documents are stored privately and deleted as soon as the review is decided. Manual verification is free.
