Resume parsing happens in your browser
When you upload a PDF or DOCX resume, the text is extracted on your own device, in your browser — the file's contents are never parsed on ofper's servers, and there is no AI reading your documents. The extracted fields simply prefill the form, and you can correct anything before saving.
Files are limited to 2 MB. Identical files are stored only once, no matter how many candidates or companies they're attached to.
One email, one candidate profile
Candidates own a single profile tied to their email address. You fill it in once, and it prefills every application on ofper — no re-typing your work history into every company's form.
The privacy wall between companies and profiles
When a company adds a candidate manually, they get their own private record. Even if a candidate profile with the same email exists, the company cannot see it, search it, or import it — nothing is ever looked up or matched behind the scenes.
The only time profile data reaches a company is when the candidate applies to that company themselves. At that moment the profile is copied into the company's private record. The company edits its copy; the candidate's profile is never modified by any company.
Who can see a resume
A resume uploaded by a company is visible only to that company's team. A resume on your candidate profile is visible only to you — and shared with a company as part of your application when you apply.
